Charles Rosier’s Life Story

He was given his first employment in 1996 at Lehman Brothers and became a member of UBS Warburg Investment Bank prior to going to Goldman Sachs Bank where he was assigned to the finance department. In an exceptional private school named Integrale, he spent two years in class to prepare for ESCP Europe. Joining the BTG Pactual Bank, Charles Rosier worked with them until 2010.

Charles Rosier’s first healthcare project was the Mapreg Drug project. Because of the capital he provided, the study on depression, strokes and other serious ailments was performed at Mapreg, a Paris-based laboratory. Mapreg is a pharmaceutical company led by Professor Etienne Baulieu. They were financed by Charles Rosier when he started to conduct healthcare projects.

Charles Rosier earned his first scientific Baccalaureate degree (which is equal to A-levels in the UK). In the year 1991, he finished his secondary education at Paris’s Fenelon Sainte-Marie. Economical LED lanterns were developed by MPOWERD to provide inexpensive energy solutions to poor countries. Charles Rosier gave his support to Luci MPOWERD, being the perfect source of clean and renewable-energy. He assisted the company to develop more impressive solutions. Charles Rosier funded MPOWERD to develop other energy solutions like lanterns. As a result, over 25 poor countries all around the world have been supplied by MPOWERD.
