We answer some of the most commonly asked questions about our Dry Hire section.

Q Is there a minimum order requirement if I collect from the warehouse? A Yes there is. A minimum order of £30.00 is required to place an order excluding any refundable deposit. Q How many days does the daily, weekend and weekly rates cover? A Daily is 24 hours from when you collect the items from our warehouse or from your agreed delivery time. Weekend is Friday to Monday and Weekly is Monday to Monday. Q Do you deliver and collect items? A Yes we do for a charge. We can also do a delivery or collection one way but then you are responsible for ensuring you either collect or return the items within the agreed time. A Minimum charge of £50.00 for delivery and collection will apply. Q What time can I collect my order and what time do I have to return it by? A All orders must be collected at the agreed time with your Events Coordinator. Dry hire items must be returned within the agreed hire period from the time of collection. Q What happens if I am late returning items to you? A You will be charged double the current daily rate. This is to ensure items are available for other customers. Q What if I damage something?A Your contract/quote will stipulate a deposit amount payable against each item hired. This will be deducted from your refundable deposit if anything is damaged. Please ensure you keep all boxes and packaging as you will be charged for these also if they are damaged or lost. Q I have paid for delivery. Will you set up the items? A No we do not set up items hired under our Dry Hire section. Sometimes we may send out drivers who may not be able to always lift heavy items. If you require assistance loading and unloading please ask your Event Coordinator for further assistance as we can provide this for a charge. Please note assistance for heavy items will not be provided for collections and returns from our warehouse either. Q I would like to hire some chairs. Will they fit in my estate car? A We are not responsible for advising you on how to fit items into vehicles but generally it is best to ask your Event Coordinator for their guidance, as some items such as Regal Chairs do not always fit into Estates cars. |
